I will do 3days London trip tmr nite and back on sat at 1600pm. I used to like long trips but now I prefer any short trips. Normally, most of longer trips will have more allowances but get more tiresome than any short ones. I don’t really care abt money thing much now. I used to feel like, during flying long trips, I didn’t want to get back to bkk as I still enjoyed flying but my attitude has dramatically been changing couple years ago. It just happened, u know what I mean. Well, I don’t mind doing long trips actually, but then I will always look forward to doing the last sector to bkk. Is that because of “Been there done that” thing or anything else at all?I have been flying with Qantas for 8 and a half years now and that’s quite long time which I feel so stuck in a way. I used to think I would love to do this job forever or as long as I can but regarding I am under employment contract, then I had better not think that way, after all. Another thing I have been trade off for this job is the rest time. It’s so hard flying on any nite sectors for over 10 hrs and I could just sleep from 1 to 2 hrs during my time off. I am not a guy that when my head hits a pillow, then I will fall asleep right away. I wish I was like that tho. And a funny thing is I will mostly get up before my time off ended because I don’t like to be woken up by anyone at all, honestly. If they wake me up by gently touching or grabbing, then it would be all right but sometimes they shook my legs and touched it so hard…..I really hate that manner and I wish I could kick that one’s ass real bad. Whenever I see someone climbing up from stairs, ill suddenly sit up and wave my hand like “Don’t even dare to touch me, darl”;-) So some other bad parts from flying will be rest time, bad eating habits, some lazy and narrow-minded cabin crew, brain shrinkage…..etc.

There are some good parts as well which are lots of time off when at home, travel in many countries, many nice cabin crew, getting paid more, getting laid (Oops;) sometimes with more choices of men (this is very crucial part, indeed)…etc. And the best part of being cabin crew is I have been learning quite a lot in people and things and I personally thank you so much to myself that I got this job and thanks heap for Qantas to give me such a tremendous experience.
